November 18th from 12pm-3pm we will be passing out boxes containing all the items needed for a family to take home and cook a complete Thanksgiving meal for a family size of 4-6.
Items will include fresh produce, boxed mashed potatoes, canned green beans, stuffing, mac and cheese, cranberry sauce and a gift card to redeem a turkey.
This event is open to anyone in need and will be first come first serve. Please bring a valid ID proving you reside within 15 miles of Fort Walton Beach, and limit to 1 meal box per household. 400 boxes will be available.
Food donations are MUCH needed as we need to collect 800 of each item. You can bring as many items as possible off the following list between October 2nd-Nov 13 to Gathering Church. The office is open between 9 am -3 pm Monday- Thursdays:
- Pepperidge Farms Stuffing Mix (12 oz bags)
- Canned Cut Green beans (14.5 oz cans)
- Boxed Mac and Cheese (14 oz box)
- Canned Cranberry Sauce (14 oz can)
- Boxed Mashed Potatoes
Also, there are several roles we will need to be filled leading up to and on the day of the event.
