September Announcements

Membership Class:

If you are a first time guest or someone who has been attending for a while we encourage you to sign up for our next membership class happening Sunday September 14. There you will learn more about our church, our beliefs, and ways to serve. We also cover who we are as a church, our foundational beliefs and distinctives, what membership means, and how to be part of the life and mission of Gathering Church. Childcare and lunch provided with registration; to register you can go online to comegather.com or download our gathering Church app, and register under the events tab. 

Mom’s Group:

Gathering Moms Group will meet on Thursday mornings from September 4 - November 20 walking through the book, “Gospel Mom.” Through Christ-centered fellowship and Bible study, we pray that moms will find encouragement, friendship and grace to flourish as we allow the truth of the Gospel to speak into our roles as mothers and renew every aspect of our lives.

Childcare will be available with advanced registration. Attendees that utilize the childcare services will be asked to contribute money to childcare costs or to volunteer to help with kids at least one Thursday during the semester.

Redemption Groups:

Redemption Groups also start Thursday evening Sept 4. This is a group, where you will discover and grow in the freedom and joy of your new identity in union with Christ. Redemption Groups show how the Gospel applies to all our issues and unbelief in the power of the Holy Spirit. We truly believe this is for everyone, so you can register to join online or through our app.

Men’s Breakfast:

Later in September we will have our next men’s event which will be a breakfast on Saturday Sept 20. Food will be provided and we will share in a time of study, testimony, and fellowship with other men here at the Gathering. Please register so we know how many to expect, or you can also sign up to bring a dish to share.

Women’s Conference:

Finally, ladies, we have not forgotten about you! Registration is now open for the Women’s conference happening October 3&4th. This powerful 2-day women’s conference will journey through the entire book of Colossians in four rich teaching sessions led by women from within our own leadership here at Gathering. Together, we will explore how to stay anchored in Christ, trust in His sufficiency and finished work, and live lives centered on Him especially in a world that constantly pulls us to drift. Registration is limited so make sure to sign up as soon as possible through our app or the website.

We are so excited to see the many ways the Lord is moving and it truly is a blessing that we get to share in that together as a church family. We are looking forward to all that the Lord has for us in the month of September and we hope to see you at all our upcoming events.
